Dr. Abbasali Abouei Mehrizi is an Associate Researcher of Mechanical & Energy Engineering at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. He obtained his Ph.D. degree (2018) in Energy and Resources Engineering from Peking University, Beijing, China, where he was selected as the best outstanding international student for his Ph.D. research and publications. He finished his postdoc in 2021 in the physics department of the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. He published more than 28 papers in top prestigious international journals. He has received different awards and foundations in his academic life.
Currently, he is working in the Physics of Interfacial Fluid Lab in UESTC as an Associated researcher/professor. His main research interests include but are not limited to the following list
· Droplet impact on the surfaces.
· Droplet and film evaporation near the contact line.
· Atomic force microscopy scanning of soft and hard materials.
· Molecular dynamic simulation.
· Convection and conduction Heat Transfer.
· Heat transfer through porous media.
· Computational fluid dynamic (CFD)
· Lattice Boltzmann Simulation of Porous Media, Nano-fluid, Convection Heat Transfer.
· Renewable Energy, Geothermal, Energy piles, Ground Source Heat pump, Reservoir Engineering, solar energy, and Wind energy.
· Analytical Method, HAM (Homotopy Analysis Method), HPM (Homotopy perturbation Method).
His current research is experimental and computational study in interfacial physics and droplet impact phenomena.
