He has obtained bachelor's, master's and doctor's degrees from Harbin Institute of Technology, and has worked in the discipline of pattern recognition and intelligent systems in the School of Automation Engineering of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China since 2008. Visiting scholar of the University of Pennsylvania, member of the Chinese Association of Artificial Intelligence and the China Computer Federation (CCF), member of the Virtual Reality Professional Committee of the Sichuan Computer Society, reviewer of IEEE TCST/TIM and COMPEL and other international journals, Huawei Ascension Expert (HAE), and excellent teacher of the Ministry of Education Huawei "Smart Base" in 2022. 

His research focuses on  pattern recognition and intelligent system technology, with main work including machine vision, intelligent perception and interaction, industrial AI applications, etc. His research interests also include Linux on embedded systems system software, cloud computing and other large-scale data processing technologies. He has rich experience and profound understanding in software engineering fields such as Internet computing and interface oriented Software architecture design. The teaching courses mainly include rambling on artificial intelligence (core general courses), embedded system design (challenging courses), pattern recognition, machine learning (high-quality graduate courses), etc. Hosted multiple provincial and ministerial level educational reform research projects, including the collaborative education project between Huawei and the Xiaomi Ministry of Education. 

At present, he is mainly engaged in research on online learning of oil drilling Big data, intelligent decision-making and control system based on Deep reinforcement learning, robot autonomous cognition system and other related topics. At present, he has participated in one key project and two general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China as a backbone research institute. Formerly served as the second person in charge to complete one pre research project for the 11th Five Year Plan of the General Equipment Department. As the first author in IEEE Trans Published over 20 papers in journals such as Instrument&Measurement and COMPEL, as well as international academic conferences, and granted 12 national invention patents. He guided undergraduates to participate in the 2021 National Undergraduate Curling AI Challenge and won the national championship, the silver medal of the 8th Internet plus International Undergraduate Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, the "Pioneer Teacher" of Huawei Cloud and Computing, the "Teacher of the pillars" of Huawei-the Ministry of Education's smart base and other titles.
