Yipeng Liu is an associate professor with University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), Chengdu, China. He has worked and studied at KU Leuven, Huawei Technologies, Tsinghua University, National Tsing Hua University. His Recent research interests including sparsity, tensor, and deep network methods for signal processing.
Yipeng Liu received the BSc degree in biomedical engineering (BME) and PhD in electronic engineering from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), Chengdu, China, in June 2006 and June 2011, respectively. His research research interests include sparsity, tensor and deep network methods for signal processing.
From July 2007 to September 2008, he was a research intern at the 10th Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (CETC-10), China. From November 2010 to May 2011, he was a visiting PhD student at Tsinghua University, China. From June 2011 to November 2011, he was a research engineer at Huawei Technologies, China. From November 2011 to November 2014, he was a postdoctoral research fellow at University of Leuven, Belgium. From November 2016 to February 2017 he was visiting scholar at National Tsing-Hua University, Taiwan, ROC. Since December 2014, he has been an associate professor with University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, China.
He is a senior member of IEEE. He has been an Associate Editor of IEEE Signal Processing Letters and a Lead Guest Editor of Signal Processing: Image Communication.
