Qiang Li received the B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Wuhan, China and the Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering from the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, in 2001 and 2007, respectively. He has been working on analog/RF and mixed-signal circuits in both academia and industry, holding positions of Engineer, Project Leader & Technical Consultant in Singapore. He has been an Associate Professor at the Aarhus University, Denmark during 2011-2014, and the Vice Dean of the School of Microelectronics and Solid-State Electronics, UESTC during 2013-2017. He is currently a full Professor at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), heading the analog group. His research interests include low-voltage and low-power analog/RF circuits, data converters, and mixed-mode circuits for biomedical and sensor interfaces.
Qiang Li has founded and is currently heading the UESTC Institute of Integrated Circuits and Systems. In January 2018, The Institute is accredited as an international collaboration platform (111 Project) co-supported by the Chinese Ministry of Education and SAFEA.
Qiang Li is the author of 90+ scientific publications, 3 international patents and 2 books. He is serving on the Student Research Preview (SRP) committee of ISSCC, the TPC of ESSCIRC, and is the General Chair of IEEE 2018 APCCAS. He is the Founder and Chair of IEEE Chengdu CASS/SSCS Joint Chapter.
Qiang Li is a Young Changjiang Scholar, and was a recipient of several awards including the National Support Program for Top-Notch Young Professionals and the UESTC Teaching Excellence Award.
