Chao Song received his PhD Degree in Computer Science from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), China, in 2009. During 2013, he was a visiting scholar at Temple University, under the supervision of Dr. Jie Wu (AAAS Fellow & IEEE Fellow). He is currently an Associate Professor in the School of Computer Science and Engineering at UESTC. His main research interests include computer network, mobile computing, and machine learning field. He has published over 40 papers in famous international conferences and journals such as AAAI, IEEE PerCom, IEEE GlobeCom, IEEE MASS, IEEE ICPADS, IEEE MSN, Journal of Parallel and Distributed Computing, Elsevier Computer Communications and so on. He acts as PI for many projects, such as National Natural Science Foundation of China,  the Applied Basic Program of Sichuan Province of China, the Science and Technology Achievements Transformation Demonstration Project of Sichuan Province of China, and the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities. He also acts as reviewers for many international conferences and journals, such as INFOCOM, ICCCN, GlobeCom, Ad Hoc Networks, VTC and so on. He serves for many international conferences, such as TPC members of IEEE ICCCN 2020 and IEEE GlobeCom 2014, Registration Chair of IEEE MSN 2012, Publicity Co-Chair & Workshop Co-Chair of IEEE MASS 2018.
