2015-High-power, high-efficiency random fiber lasing with a low reflectivity mirror

Abstract:We theoretically investigate the role of point reflector’s reflectivity in the performance of forward-pumped high power random fiber lasing, and demonstrate that the maximum 1 st-oder random lasing output power can even increase when the reflectivity decreases from 0.9 to 0.01.
