Yu Qian is a Professor of Management Science and Engineering at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), Standing Council Member of the Sichuan Economic Society (四川省经济学会常务理事). She received her PhD degree in Management Science and Engineering from UESTC&Tsinghua University in 2008. Her general research interests include Information Economics and Business Intelligence, Data Intelligence and Management, Supply Chain and Operations Management. Her papers have been published and presented in journals and conferences such as Information Proceesing and Management (IPM), Decision Support Systems (DSS), Information & Management (I&M), Journal of Information Science (JIS), International Journal of Information Management (IJIM), Flexible Services and Manufacturing Journal (FSM), Journal of Systems Science and Systems Engineering (JSSSE), Journal of Management Sciences in China (管理科学学报), Systems Engineering - Theory & Practice (系统工程理论与实践), Chinese Journal of Management Science (中国管理科学) as well as POMS, INFORMS, and ICIS top international academic conference conference. She has led three National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) projects and one provincial natural science foundation project, and participated in multiple National Natural Science Foundation of China key projects, general projects, and National Key R&D Program projects.
