电子科技大学基础与前沿研究院教授，全球高被引科学家（计算机），国务院政府特殊津贴专家。祝峰教授是新西兰奥克兰大学计算机科学博士，新西兰奥克兰大学计算机系博士后，美国亚利桑那大学系统工程硕士，现还担任中国自动化学会理事，《自动化学报》编委，《模式识别与人工智能》编委，中国自动化学会粒计算与多尺度分析专委会主任。2015年获中国自动化学会自然科学奖一等奖。目前主持国家自然科学基金面上项目1项，结题国家自然科学基金面上项目3项，指导博士后1名，博士生4名，硕士生12名。
