Curriculum vitae:  Xiaowei Zhang was born in Baoji, Shaanxi. He received the Ph.D. degree in applied mathematics from Xidian University. Since then, he has been a faculty member of the School of Mathematical Sciences at University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu. Currently, He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in probability theory and mathematical statistics, mathematical experiments, operational research and optimization theories and methods. His current research interests include Optimization,  Evolutionary Computation and Machine Learning.
