Personal Profile
Jiang Ning was born in Sichuan, China, in 1984. He received the B.S. degree in the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in 2005 and the Ph.D. degree in the Southwest Jiaotong University of China, in 2012. He is currently working at the School of Information and Communication Engineering, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. He has published more than 120 authored or coauthored research papers (including 2 higly-cited papers, H-index 19). His current research works focus on the nonlinear dynamics of lasers, semiconductor laser-based chaos generation, all-optical chaos-based secure communication, random bit generation, secure key distribution, radio over fiber (RoF), orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) for optical transmission.
He is a senior member of the IEEE photonic society and a member of the Optical Society of America (OSA). He also serves as a reviewer for several journals, including Optics Express, Optics Letters, Photonics Research, Journal of Lightwave Technology, IEEE Photonics Technology Letters, IEEE Journal of Quantum Electronics, IEEE Communication Letters, Applied Optics, IEEE Photonics Journal, Chinese Physics B, Journal of Optics & Laser Technology, and Photonic Sensors.
