Personal Profile

     Dr. Zi-Rong Tang is a full professor at the School of Materials and Energy, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China(UESTC), with research focus on Energy/Environmental Catalysis and Artificial Photosynthesis. Her research interests include developing novel catalysts for C1 conversion, chemicals synthesis, plastic waste and biomass upcycling, and catalytic mechanism investigation. She has published over 140 peer-reviewed papers with an h-index of 80 in journals such as Nat. Sustain., Nat. Commun., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., ACS Nano and ACS Catal.. She was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC) in 2025 and has been included in the Clarivate Analytics Global Highly Cited Researchers lists (2022-2023).
