      1. Image and video processing: Object detection, enhancement and segmentation, tracking and recognition, machine learning, data compression and video communication.

      2. Network and communication: Telemetry control network for real-time performance and traffic control, wireless sensor network, light-weight protocol stack for tiny embedded system.

3. Medical informatics:  Medical image processing, DICOM and PACS, portable and wearable electronic for personal healthcare.
