Engaged in fundamental research on condensed matter physics, especially on physical property tuning in two-dimensional materials since 2014. Tens of tier 1 papers have been published in high-impact SCI journals,  including ACS Nano, Nano Letters, Nature and Advanced Materials.

Delivered oral speech in more than ten international conferences on physics held in China, America and European countries. Participated and served in four Singapore research projects as a core member.

Honored with Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-Financed Students Abroad (2017) and Young Women Scientist Award of Nanyang Technological University (2018).
