Personal Profile
Xovee Xu is a postdoctoral researcher in the School of Information and Software Engineering at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), where he received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees. His research spans artificial intelligence, data mining, and social computing, with a focus on information diffusion and context-aware learning. He studies how information spreads through social systems and how intelligent systems select and use relevant information. His work has appeared in venues including IEEE TKDE, NeurIPS, KDD, AAAI, INFOCOM, SIGIR, and The Web Conference. He has been awarded research grants as principal investigator by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Natural Science Foundation of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
