研究致力于通过研发微纳医疗系统来弥合技术和医学之间的鸿沟,长期从事3D打印及其在生物传感和微器件制造领域应用的研究,在复合材料3D打印、生物3D打印、3D打印新型微纳生物传感器件及诊断设备、3D打印柔性器件与微机器人等重要前沿方向上开展了深入的研究工作,并取得了一系列创新科研成果,在Advanced Materials, Advanced Functional Materials, ACS NanoVirtual and Rapid Prototyping等增材制造、微纳工程及生物医学领域内的重要期刊上发表了70篇论文。共申请中国及国际专利50项,其中8项获得授权。3项技术共16项相关专利实现或正在进行转让/转化。其中,基于微纳多级二氧化硅膜的固液双相大分子量DNA萃取技术已完成技术转换,并被第三代测序领跑企业Pacific Biosciences收购,相关技术产品目前已成为第三代长读测序的样本制备标准方法。
